Last updated February 06, 2021
Thank you for choosing to be part of my community at Do’s, Don’ts, Tips and Tricks (“Company“, “I“, “me“, “my“). I am committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy or our practices, with regards to your personal information, please contact us at dosdontstipsandtricks@outlook.com.
When you visit my site https://dosdontstipsandtricks.com/ (the “Website“), and more generally, use any of my services (the “Services“, which include the Website), I appreciate that you are trusting me with your personal information. With this document, I seek to explain to you in the most transparent way possible what information I collect, how the Website uses it and what rights you have concerning it. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of my Services immediately.
This privacy policy applies to all information collected through my Services (which, as described above, includes my Website).
Please read this privacy policy carefully. It will help you understand what I do with the information that is collected.
1. WHAT INFORMATION DO I COLLECT?
Information automatically collected
In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Website.
My Website automatically collects certain information when you visit, use or navigate the site. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use my Website and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of my Website, and for my internal analytics and reporting purposes.
Also note that if you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Like many sites, my Website also uses cookies to recognize, collect, and/or track information about, and relevant to, your usage of the Site. Articles on this site may also include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
2. HOW IS YOUR INFORMATION USED?
In Short: Your information is processed for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfilment of any contract I may have with you, compliance with my legal obligations, and/or your consent.
Your personal information is collected by my Website for a variety of business purposes, described below. Your personal information is processed for these purposes in reliance on my legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. I indicate the specific processing grounds I rely on next to each purpose listed below.
My Website uses the information I collect or receive:
- To send administrative information to you. I may use your personal information to send you product, service and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies, if ever the option arrives for you to upload your information (via a subscription).
- To protect my Services. I may use your information as part of my efforts to keep my Website safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention).
- To enforce my terms, conditions and policies for business purposes, to comply with legal and regulatory requirements or in connection with any contract we may enter into.
- To respond to legal requests and prevent harm. If I receive a subpoena or other legal request, I may need to inspect the data I hold to determine how to respond.
3. WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
In Short: I only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfil business obligations.
I may process or share your data that I hold based on the following legal basis:
- Consent: I may process your data if you have given me specific consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose.
- Performance of a Contract: Where I have entered into a contract with you, I may process your personal information to fulfil the terms of our contract.
- Legal Obligations: I may disclose your information where I am legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).
- Vital Interests: I may disclose your information where I believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of my policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which I am involved.
4. HOW LONG DO I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: Your information is kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
5. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, I do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that I must follow in the future, I will inform you about that process in a revised version of this privacy policy.
6. HOW CAN YOU REVIEW, UPDATE, OR DELETE THE DATA I COLLECT FROM YOU?
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of any personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please email me at
dosdontstipsandtricks@outlook.com with your request.
I will respond to your request within 30 days.
7. DO I MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?
In Short: Yes, I will update this policy as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.
I may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If material changes are made to this privacy policy, I may notify you by prominently posting a policy of such changes.
I encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how I am protecting your information.
